Killing yourself due to some radical interpretation of your beliefs? It doesn’t bring me joy to say it but, environment is the new religion. This religion like many others can cause people to act in perplexing and irrational manners that can bring harm to others as in this tragic case out of Argentina.
“A seven-month old baby in Argentina reportedly survived for three days with a bullet wound in her chest.
Francisco Lotero, 56, and Miriam Coletti, 23, shot their baby daughter and toddler son before killing each other in a global-warming inspired suicide pact, the U.K. Daily Mail reports.
The boy, Francisco, was found dead, shot in the back. However, the bullet from Lotero's handgun missed his daughter's vital organs.
She is now safe and recovering in a hospital in Goya, a town in the northern Argentine province of Corrientes, the newspaper reports.
Police arrived on the scene after neighbours reported a foul odour coming from the house.
Inside, they discovered a discovered a suicide note, in which the parents said they feared the effects of global warming.”
There is no excuse for such a despicable act.
